Experience London’s High Life: Prestige Destinations

A city break is the perfect opportunity to live a life you wouldn’t normally be able to. We all eat out more than usual, treat ourselves to things that would normally be off-budget and generally indulge ourselves a little. The UK’s capital city is a wonderful place to do this, but to really complete the picture, with prestige car hire London can really feel like yours.

Fine dining is a large part of this, but let’s take it through the day. First, though, let’s find the right vehicle. Something big and elegant? Something a little smaller and therefore easier to get around in what can be very busy streets? That sounds like a plan.

The beauty of prestige car hire in London is that rightly or wrongly, knowingly or without meaning to, people treat you differently. That fancy car could contain a celebrity, an actor or musician, a member of the aristocracy or someone not famous but notorious. Whoever it is, they’re in this great vehicle and they should be treated with respect. That makes your day driving in London easier from the outset, and that could mean breakfast. This is a meal that doesn’t get the attention lunch and dinner do, but let’s start as we mean to continue, with something to eat in the nearest good restaurant that does such a thing. This may mean a hotel, or it could be one of the ever-growing number of restaurants that are open all day.

Smoked salmon and scrambled eggs, with orange juice and quality, freshly brewed coffee. Or the legendary full English, which varies according to where you go, but is a hearty meal to set you up for the day.

Then, let’s use this prestige car to take us sightseeing. Ever seen the Thames Barrier, a sci-fi number designed to prevent flooding in extreme conditions? Or would you like to take in some stunning architecture, such as Westminster Abbey? Or the old Royal Naval College in Greenwich, where the buildings and surroundings are stunning and there is art to look at. Maybe take a walk round Greenwich Park to work off some calories.

You don’t have to cram too much in, because leisure is the name of the game. Maybe have a look at The Shard and the Gherkin, modern cultural showpiece office buildings on the London skyline.

This will take us close to lunchtime and your choice of some of the smartest hotels in the world. If you like the sound of lunch at the Ritz, go for it. If you have a favourite celebrity chef who has a restaurant in one of these places, you may choose that.

Maybe have a light lunch, because dinner is just around the corner, and you might just have time for a stroll by the Serpentine, followed by a relaxing time feeding the ducks.

Then it will be back in this luxury car and off to a fashionable restaurant which may be in the West End or may not, because London has changed and many previously humble areas are now gentrified with q population of young professionals who demand great cuisine. So, the Ivy right in the centre or maybe the Florattica Rooftop Bar in EC3.

It doesn’t have to be all eating and drinking, of course. Your prestige car can take you to the riverside so you can jog along the Thames or to a gym where you can tone up and give you an appetite – because you’re going to want at least one fabulous meal.
