About Shamima Begum
Shamima Begum is a British girl who was born in the years of 1999, in Bethnal Green, London, United Kingdom. As of 2023, She is 22 years old. She was born and raised by very inspiring and lovely parents, Mohammad Uddin ( father) and Shahnaz Begum (mother) who was died in January 2014 because of cancer. After the death of her mom, her father married another woman, She started to live with her grandmother.
She attended Bethnal Green Academy, London. In December 2014, She left UK to join the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL). after she went there, her other three friends named Shamima Begum, Kadiza Sultana, and Amira Abase also joined her in the same place, Raqqa, Syria.
What happened Sharmeena Begum?
In 2015, She got married to his husband named Yago Riedijk. In one of her interviews, She said that She left Raqqa, Syria in 2017 with her husband and children, a daughter, and a son, they both died.
In 2019, she was found in a Syrian refugee camp when she was in her pregnancy period. her youngest child died because of a lung infection in march 2019.
Now, In 2021, Shamima Begum is trying to come back to her motherland, UK, England, in order to officially appeal against the removal of her British citizenship, but the UK’s Supreme Court is not giving allowed her to come back to the UK. (News update: 2/26/2021)
